A buddy told me about OPTI-2 several years ago. Been using it ever since. I do have one question however. Can I store my what’s left in my gas can to use the following year and do I have to run my weed eater dry (drain the carb) when I put it away for the winter? I told several neighbors about OPTI-2 and they love it just as much as I do. Thanks for a great product.

Been using Opti 2, 2 stroke oil for over 15 years. Own a large landscaping company and buy it in the 5 gallon bucket. From the day i purchase the equipment to the day i retire it, I’ve never had an engine failure ever. This is the best oil money can buy and i’ll never use anything else.

I have a 30 year old Craftsman chain saw that specifies a very rich gas oil mix – 15:1. It is hard to start and run with that mix. Opti-2 runs great, however. I should be able to run that saw as long as chains are available.

I use Opti Products in all my cars, motorcycles ,snowblower and garden tractor(and any other gasoline engine product) since 1970 with absolut NO problems.Running-racing my very rare Vintage bikes 100-1 shows my trust in the OPTI products.

Last year I purchased a small Smoker craft fishing boat that had a 1968 Evenrude electric start engine. It was in very bad condition and was a mess. I could not keep I running. I dumped the gas ,put in fresh gas & Opti-2 and believe it or not it started right up and after 20 min. of running it was hardly smoking. I then took it fishing & it ran so smooth with no oily water that even the other boaters were impressed. My next crabbing trip I ran out of gas & had to be towed back to the marina to get gas & oil (yes 2 strokes do use more gas). They only had Chevron so that’s what I used. It at once started smoking & leaving a oil slick on the water. When I got home I again dumped the gas & put in Optic-2 with no problems since. I now also use Optic-2 in chainsaws & weed eater. WHAT A GREAT PRODUCT !

I have been using Opti 2 in Kolb Firestar with a Rotax 503 for about 2 yrs at the recommendation of friend that is an aircraft mechanic for US West airlines, he uses it in all his 2 strokes and swears by it!
I have nothing but great things to say about this oil, “I LOVE IT”, and my plane runs great on it!

I switched to Opti 2 stroke oil over 20 years ago and have used the same mix ratio, regardless of manufacturer recommendations in lawn mowers, chainsaws, string trimmers and blowers with perfect success. I immediately noticed some additional power and almost no smoke when compared to standard two-stroke oils. I have never experienced any oil related failures and actually wore out non-engine related components before having problems with engine components. I recommend Opti-2 to anyone who runs two-stroke engines and would like to get away form poor idling, smoke and excessive engine wear.

Ever since we started using the Opti-2 Injector Lube our engines have never lasted this long before…. We own over 65 snowmobiles… And have owned about 300 over the years running Opti-2 Injector Lube. With little lubrication issues.
I just had the top ends done on 3-2013 Skidoo Summit 800s with 11,000 km…. Which in the snowmobile world is high km for this brand.
To our and the Skidoo dealers amazement in the coloration and lack of wear on the pistons show and prove to me how more superior this oil is over the other brands.
Thanks

Todd with MO Dept of Transportation: I use the 55 gallon drums of Opti-2. Buy a drum each year (past 5 years). I have no plugs fouling or exhaust screens plugging up. My crews like going to work and not having down time. Opti-2 just works. If you could, I am looking for names and numbers of distributors in my area.

My father has owned a small engine repair shop for 30 years. Since every 2-cycle engine required a slightly different oil:gas ratio, he sought a product that would work in any 2-cycle engine. After all, it’s not practical to have 30 cans of mixture sitting around! That’s when he started using the Optimol products (for 4-cycle engines, too). The big companies threatened him and stated they would void his customer’s warranties if he didn’t use their brand of 2-cycle oil. With the Optimol warranty in hand, he took the risk and hasn’t used another product since. Moreover, he’s never had a warranty claim against Optimol. I have a 21-year-old Lawn-Boy mower (2-cycle) and a 10-year-old STIHL trimmer. Both purr like kittens. NEVER use anything but Optimol products, maintain your equipment, and you will be very happy!

Been selling and using OPTI products for 20 years. Great success with all your products. I sell gallon jugs of OPTI-2 to the loggers and brushing crews. They won’t use anything else.

I beat the tar out of my KTM 250 E/XC, from brand new using only Opti-2 at 100:1, and Opti 4 10w30 in the transmission and clutch. The top end lasted 12 years! It was also a much faster bike than most, even a lot of bikes that had larger motors. Amazing product.

Praise the Lord! I want to rate it better than excellent. We are a commercial landscape company and run 2 and 4 stroke equipment all day. We would keep regular gas and mixed gas on the truck for the different motors. About twice a year, or more, someone would mess up and put straight gas in the 2 stroke and seize the engine. Now there is one tank of gas with the Opti 2 and it goes in all our equipment, 2 and 4 stroke. No more mistakes and all the engine wear and tear has been enormously reduced! Amen.
Randy
Thanks I have used this oil for about 17 years. I have a few friends that now use it. Best oil for 2 cycle. I had a back pack blower that my son filled with regular gas and ran the blower for about 1/2 tank of gas was gone. I added Opti-2 to the tank it never had a problem. Now that blower is about 18 years old and still running never changed anything but a plug.

Greetings 2-stroke fans. This will be my second testimony to the prior of 4 years ago. 4 years in the running has really put this product to the test for me. I purchased a new saw since my last review and used opti from the get-go. It has been 4 years using this saw in full time forestry along with splitting fire wood (yes splitting) about 5 cord per year and the saw still runs as the day it was purchased. But that is not my big awesome. Another saw I have that I had been using with the Opti for about a year went down on me right in the middle of a big job. It made a lot of noise when trying to restart so i set it aside for some time and ordered the rebuild parts based on experience. During disassembly I had found that the cylinder had loosened up in turn creating a massive lean condition. First thoughts where SAW IS FRIED. Much to my amazement only the crank and bearings had failed. The cylinder and piston were perfect, the 2 things that should have went first. If using standard oil that saw would have been junk. That’s my big awesome. Interlube corp, thank you again for a great product that may just do more than intended. No reason for me to ever try anything else unless it is new and improved from Interlube. Happy 2-stroking every one.

I recently bought a used Toro 3650 snowblower as a back up for my other 3650. We had a hell of a winter here in Boston and need to run two machines at the same time..
This used blower had a tune up and spark plug change just before winter. The guy I bought it from was running Echo 2 cycle oil mixed at 50:1. When I changed the plug it was black and fouled. My other 3650 has been running for 3 years on the same plug using Opti-2 at around a 72:1 ratio. One packet per US Gallon. The plug was a very slight brown and had no oil build up whatsoever. It looked like new after 3 years and lots of hours !!!
This is good stuff. Thanks guys for a great product.
I’m not going to bother changing plugs anymore. I will wait until there are hiccups but I don’t expect any for a long while.

I have been running Opti2 in all my 2 smokers now for the last 4 years, weed wackers, chainsaws, and the cheap built 2 smoker engines on my three motorized bicycles, I have not had one single engine failure since switching for the normal dino oil to Opti2, all my engine start easy, run clean, perform very well and have been perfectly reliable on Opti2, thank you interlube for such an excellent product, people that’s doubt or have not yet heard of Opti2, have no odea hat a great product they’re missing out on, I plan to switch all my 4 smoker lawn and garden equipment over to Opti4 this spring also…. excellent product……! Im a lifer when it comes to Opti2 qnd other Interlube products period.

I’ve been using Opti 2 two stroke oil for many years but
I had an issue however Paul addressed it straight away
I couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service!
So I decided to write a review.
About the product Opti 2; My Redmax dealer turned me on to Interlube products what sold me, was a test you can do @ home clean the exhaust on your machine prior to running Opti 2 now run Opti 2 & run the tank out and check the exhaust you’ll find you’ll have little to no oil residue on the exhaust port, To me that’s a testament how clean it burns! Try out a bottle you’ll never put anything else in your equipment If you care about the planet and your equipment….
I ride vintage 2 stroke motorcycles so I know a thing or two about oils!

i have been using the Opti 2 product for over 2 years and i can say my repairs have gone away i use the product in all my lawn equipment, they run so smooth and start easy even after 4 months of not being used are drained over the winter. Brad was helpful in helping me find a new supplier i can’t believe everone is not using this product not having to have 2 diffent gas cans make life much better.
Great Product..

At my request not too, while I was gone, my wife mowed part of my pasture. She did not check debris on cooling fan. As near as I can figure the engine was run for at least an hour or more with no cooling at 80 degree day. Engine finally quit on her, I started it after cool down. Found out it got so hot it melted all plastic parts contacting the oil, like dip-stick and bottom of filler tube, but the engine still ran pretty good. Am replacing the engine. I am AMAZED the engine STILL runs. You may be interested in teardown to see type of damage with such high operating temps. I figure maybe in the 400 to 500 degree range. Engine has ran since new with Opti-4 oil for 157 hours.

TRUELY I have not the words to describe my satisfaction of your product other than to share my professional experience with you and all who read this testimonial. I am an avid tree feller owning 2 professional high performance chain saws, Husquvarna and Dolmar. Since the addition of ethanol in our fuels my Husky has suffered fuel pump issues causing lean conditions and in return cylinder scuffing with piston burning, which lead to top end rebuilds. MOST ANNOYING. Fortunately I was able to avoid another rebuild in stopping the saw when symptoms expressed themselves. I had to replace the fuel pump again, at the same time, also removed muffler to inspect exhaust port for damage. There was some scuffing and minor piston burn. This is where you came into play OPTI-2. I had found some non ethanol fuel and mixed it with your oil and some quality octane booster. Need I say GADZOOKS! Due to the lower mix ratio and the the engineering of your product my saw has become a real blazer. After running just one tank full of fuel the performance was astonishing. The saw’s idle became very stable and throttle response was right on Q. I even noticed the exhaust fumes no longer burned my eyes and gagged me when cutting in confined spaces. One more thing to mention, on next fill up I had forgotten to set the decompression valve when starting the saw, it nearly took my fist apart. You state that it would restore compression and it did just that. The saw now runs as the day it was purchased if not better. Thank you Interlube for a product that does what you claim it will do. You have a lifetime customer with me. Can not wait to use it in my high performance outboard. BIG 2 THUMBS UP.

I recently purchased a new Stihl string trimmer and was told I should use their HP Ultra oil. The first time I started to fill the trimmer, I noticed a blue mix in the tank. HP Ultra is greenish. I called the dealer to ask the difference in the gas mixes and was given a lame answer of ” the oil companies use different dyes and even though it is the same oil, his was blue and mine green.”
That answer just sent me on a mission. Long story short, I found Opti-2 and it works great in my 32:1 saw, 40:1 (old) trimmer, and 50:1 (new) trimmer. The reason for the new trimmer, the old one was hard to start and keep running using the oil/gas mix prescribed for it. Funny how it always ran great post/repair shop until I added the prescribed mix.
Do yourself a favor and give Opti-2 a try before you give up on your equipment and purchase a replacement. You might just save a lot of money. BTW, my old trimmer runs great and starts on the first or second pull! Great product!
Thanks guys.

What can I say? Opti-2 in all my 2-cycle engines and Opti-4 during winter months on all my 4-cycles. I have been using your product for approx. 15yrs. Worked so well I had to lay to rest a Ryobi weed eater because parts were no longer available!!! NOT related to engine failure.

This oil is gr8!!!! I love this oil and I’ve never heard about it. A small lawn mower shop in Tulsa got me hooked on it. I used it in a 2-cycle ultralight aircraft engine that normally runs about 530 degrees cht at full power and now it runs around 470-490 cht and I have a noticeable power increase at the high RPM end and great low RPM performance as well and no more plug fowling!! My car loves it too! I’d put it on my pancakes if I could! It’s just hard to find at the stores. I don’t normally write reviews but this oil is something else! Thanks,
Tad Knoth
Love this oil. I race motorized bikes and I run this oil only. These little motors rev high and get hot. I have not blown or destroyed any of my motors since I’ve switched to this oil. I use to have to break in my motor with a non-synthetic at 40:1 the switch to a full synthetic. But now I can run my motors from day one with just this oil. It’s Awesome. Thanks again for wonderful product.

I have a 1982 Johnson outboard motor and started a few years ago using your oil having read about it in a magazine. Well up in this part of the country our big fish is the walleye and normally to get these you have to back troll to make a slow presentation. With all other oils that I have used before I had trouble with the engine running rough. When you had to speed it up it would smoke and finally would smooth itself out. With Opti-2 I can go for hours and hours and never have this problem, and when I do decide to have to move faster I have no big cloud of smoke after me. The engine runs like a million bucks with you oil. Best regards, PEP

Good Day…I’m a long time Opti-2 user in all of my two cycle products…a perfect product. I read somewhere that you can actually use the two cycle mix in a four cycle engine without causing any damage. Is this true? Also, just a note here to praise the stuff. I recently crashed a large model aircraft which completely demolished it including the 3.2 cu in gas motor which literally had 250 hours running at full throttle. When we recovered the pieces and were able to take what was left of the motor apart, we were very pleased to see that Opti-2 has kept the insides sparkling clean for many years! Thanks.

Been a small engine mechanic at a dealer for years. We carry the opti line oils. I had taken apart a motor that only had ever run on opti sae 30 since new. The inside of the engine and cylider bore looked brand new. When i use the 2 cycle mix there is no smoke or smell. The customers love the one pouch mix. This stuff is canadian approved!!!!

(I own a Husqvarna saw 372xp and 2 Echo cs500p. At the beginning with Opti-2 I was really scared of burning my saws, but after 1 month of intensive use at 90 degrees heat…surprise, my 3 saws are getting better and better and I am very confident with Opti-2 and I recommend it to all.)

I’ve Been Using Opti 2 for over 6 Years and my 2Stroke Engine runs like the day I bought It !!! Great Product Great Price I give it a 5* rating. I will recomend it to everyone..

As a manager of a large hardware store rental department, I am so impressed with Opti-2. We use it in everything we have including: weed eaters, demolition saws, chain saws, hedge trimmers, any of our 2 cycle products. We have every brand from Husqvarna, Stihl, Kawasaki and many more. It is always easy to mix the correct mixture for great performance. Mechanically, our profits have increased due to less burnt up pistons because of too weak of a mixture and we have far less fouled spark plugs to deal with from too strong of a mix.
GREAT JOB! IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT AND EASY TO USE!!!!!
Alex Holsinger
I had heard great stories of your product at my local Ace. So I decided to give it a try. I use this stuff in a Stihl chain saw, lawn boy lawn mower, poulan chain saw, poulan 31cc weed eater, well everything 2stroke. I’m very impressed at how versatile it is. Having a stabilizer in it, I can mix up a weeks worth of gas and go.

I am currently 74 years old and was introduced to the OPTI 2 product over 25 years ago when I purchased a 2 cycle outboard motor. I was skeptical of this one size fits all idea, so I used it in all the older 2 cycle engines I had before I used it in my new outboard. Needless to say, I am still running it in a 28 year old Echo weed whip to this day. The greatest feature is, if you are like me, you have an assortment of 2 cycle engines your use and they pretty much have their own default mixing ratios. With OPTI 2, you make up one batch of 2 cycle fuel and it works well in each engine. For example, my grandson paid us a visit this last summer and helped us with the chores around the yard. My peace of mind was that I knew he would not damage any of our weed whips, chain saws, leaf blowers, or 2 cycle ATV’s with the wrong mixture of fuel. It is the greatest way to take proper care of your 2 cycle mixture needs.
Seth
Have been running Opti-2 in my 4 cycle equipment. I was concerned at first because I use the US Gallon vs Imperial gallon, so my ratio is more like 72:1 instead of 100:1. I thought it would be too rich a mixture to run in my 4 cycle snowblower. So far it is super… really fast starts and no smoke. I can’t wait to inspect the plug once the season is over. If it is anything like my 2 cycle blower, the plug will be clean and like new. I’m sure tha the Opti-2 will provide upper cylinder lubrication and hence, longevity, the same way diesel fuel lubricates as it burns. Thanks, Brad for your assistance. One gas can makes life so easy!!

I been selling Opti Oil for almost 30 yrs now. I have never seen a oil failure from using Opti Oil . Our Shop Generators have been using since they was new and some of them are over 20yrs old. We use them in all the Home Standby Generators that we service, I use all there products in all my Equipment and all the Equipment that we repair and sell new. You won’t go wrong by using Opti Oil. Our Sales Rep was call Opti Al ” may he R.I.P ”

Love this product…I just made the switch this winter in my ice auger for ice fishing on the recommendation of a guy doing some carb work for me. Will be using it in my summer yard stuff too. Can you send me a decal for display in my rod building shop? I have a few customers asking what I use in my auger…nothing other than Opti from now on!
Mark – Saulco Enterprises
We had a customer’s chainsaw here that we were troubleshooting. During the process we installed our shop fuel (premium with Opti-Mizer Fuel Treatment). He ended up buying a new saw and left the old one. We were going to repair and resell it but as usual, got busy and it got put aside. Five years later we pulled this thing out and thought “its a goner now”. Out of curiosity we drained the fuel from the tank, threw in some fresh stuff and the saw fired right up! We couldn’t believe it.

i have used optimol for 25 years nothing better out there

At my first isdt race in Germany 1962 I got sponsored by then called optimal oil, where they mixed already 50 to 1 when everyone was mixing 20 to 1. We were called crazy and would not make it one single day. I finished all 6 days and won a gold medal. In the 70’s Opti came to Canada and the USA with improved oil mixing 100 to 1. I have never used anything else and never had a problem. Thank you Opti……,
Seth Levine
First snow of the season. Hadn’t started the old Toro 10 months. Filled the tank with An Opti2 mixture I made more than. 18 months ago. Fired up on 2 pulls, smooth and free of stutters. This is the best stuff. If you are on the fence, just try one gallon. You’ll be convinced.

As a commercial go-kart track operator, I am fortunate that I was introduced to Opti-4 and began using it in my 11 Honda engines. Each engine is put through a vigorous daily cycle, including extensive idling in the pits and hard operation on long, hot summer days. Even after accruing several thousand running hours on each, some in excess of 7,000 hours, these engines have performed virtually flawlessly in the many years that I have been using Opti-4. The 55-gallon drum of Opti-4 that sits in my shop is a sound investment in longevity, quality, and peace of mind.

I would like to Thank BRAD for a job well done !!!!. Contacted OPTI about a month ago trying to find it in the Huntsville area finally did. I have a Stihl weed eater that’s about 10 yrs old I decided to use the opti 2. At first I admit I was pissed cause it wouldn’t start at all tried for over and hour taking spark plug out cleaning checking everything. I sent an email Sunday night and first thing Monday morning received a text asking me to call. ( That’s customer service ) I called and come to find out it was my fault I had mixed it with fuel that had stabil in it already about a quarter of a tank. drained it out started fresh, run like a jewel. Brad said to give it a couple of tanks and all would be fine and sure enough it is. THEY HAVE GREAT CUTOMER SERVICE and I’M A LOYAL CUTOMER KNOW.
Thanks from Alabama
JerryD
Best Oil I found made for any two stroke engine(s) I’ve ever seen. Used to race outboards and would turn 8400 rpm every race, ran over 28.5 hours at this RPM, supposed to change rings twice and pistons once with Opti-2 using at 80/1 ratio were only wore down half of factory specs. Amazing Oil. Works in any two stroke engine(s) excellent!
Rob Eckert
I can’t thank Brad enough for recommending the Opti Mizer MAX fuel stabilizer. I bought a Cub Cadet XT1 and I thought in ran well the first season I had it. When I took it out for the next one it ran so poorly I was ready to take it back. Brad said to try Opti Mizer Max and about half way through the fuel tank I swear it was running with more power and smoother. I could actually throttle back a bit and cut the same at a lower power setting. I can’t wait to change the oil next and use the Opti engine oil product next. Thanks for a great product.
Raymond
Well, here’s my 2 cents on the 2 stroke oil. Bought new in 95 a KDX-200 Motor cycle, did break-in with manufacture oil – 1 tank at 32:1. Foul plugs every 15-17 miles. Stop by StarShip Engineering and talk to Tommy, the owner, about my plug fouling problem. He told me to try this Opti oil at 100:1 and I said man you are CRAZY. Call the company and they said If My Bike Seized They would replace the motor. And after 23 years of 5-10 Hair Scramble Racers a year, a dozen of GNCC races and Thousands of Hard Trail Miles and Hours on This Bike and Still on the original Piston & Rings. All of my buddies do a top end every 1-2 years on their so call Brand XXXX oil, and they always ask what OIL do I use…OPTI-2 I say. They shrug their heads in disbelief and say I am going to Blow My Bike up using that Stuff. If I ever Wear this thing out my next 2-stroke will use this Oil too. I like riding and not wrenching. I also use it in the old weed wacker, chainsaw, and boat motor and no problems at all. ONE OIL for all works Excellent. MY Review is done. Thanks
John B.
I would like to thank you for producing the best two-stroke oil I have ever used. I just sold my Titan aircraft that had a 503 52hp Rotax engine with a total of just over 600 hours running time and 10 years of trouble free flying. For the sale condition inspection of the engine it checked with a compression of 120# and 122#, that’s like new. I would also get 80 to 100 hours without having to change the spark plugs due to oil fouling.
I just bought a boat with a 130hp Yamaha outboard that has an oil injection system on it, as of this time I am also adding Opti-2 in the fuel as a safety in case the oil system would fail.
Francois
Best oil for 2 strokes ever!
run my antiques snowmobile 100:1 perfect! no smoke no smell!

not known enough in Quebec

I have used Opti 2 for nearly 10 years in all my 2 stroke engines. The use primarily is with vintage Husqvarna motorcycles and a 1983 Husqvarna chainsaw as well. The bikes are 30 to 40 years old and once rebuilt are only fed this premix. Racing 1 for 10 plus years on the same rebuild with Optimol 2 and the bike preforms great. Excellent product that keeps old things young!!

Bought a Jonsereds chain saw 21 years ago and the logging dealer that sold it to me sold me a 2.5 gallon jug at that time. I faithfully used it and NEVER had a malfunction. That shop went out of business and so did my source for the oil. After 2 seasons of using other brands I had the tank strainer fail, the line collapsed, and the carb needed a kit. Been looking for this product since. So glad to have found the web site and will be purchasing a jug next time I’m out.

I run a commercial grounds maintenance company (25 years) and I’ve ran Opti-2 In every piece of equipment we own and never have had an engine failure. You cannot beat the 100:1 mix in one gas can for all your mix ratio equipment. I bought my first T-27 weed eater almost 20 years ago and I still have and run it today, it’s only ran on opti 2. If that’s not enough proof to make you buy this product then you need therapy. If you are one my competitors disregard all the above, I always see your trucks parked at the mower fix it shop.
Jim L.
Just a note to tell you how much I think of your products. Back in 1983 my next door neighbor was a chainsaw dealer for NE Kansas and Missouri. He sold me a Husqvarna chainsaw and told me to only run Optimal in it, which he had just started selling. The saw is still going strong cutting 5 to 10 cords of hardwood a year and the only problem I’ve had is an oil pump and a new spark plug every other year. The engine still starts on 2nd or 3rd pull and still cuts down big oaks with no problem. I use it in all my 2 cycle engines and have never had any engine problems. The only problem is I think the saw is going to out last me. I would stand by this product over all the others.
Basil Irwin
I used nothing but Opti-2 for years but ran out and trouble finding some more. So I tried to use traditional 2-cyle mix oils and had nothing but trouble. Went online and bought a large carton of Opti-2 squeeze packs and now I’m trouble-free again with my 2-cycle lawn tools.
A heck of a lot less smoke now too!!!

This stuff is amazing. I went through a phase of trying to find the best two stroke oil available and have a lot of open but unused bottles of various synthetic/syn blends sitting in the garage now that I have finally settled on opti. I have heard great things about optimol from people in the forestry industry and lcos. And opti 2 is just a newer formulation. I use opti in my many vintage two stroke engines from old 16:1 chainsaws, vintage 16:1/32:1 lawnboys to my new husqvarna 50:1 strimmer. These lawnboys have had a service life before I found them and bring them back to life. I used to use Dino oil at 32:1 only in them but that was so smokey and it was normal to have to clean exhaust ports and still run into low compression issues from wear or rings sticking. Opti at 80:1 (I mix a bit richer) has eliminated carbon issues and I have brought compression back to old engines. I also use vintage mowers commercially and only use opti 2 in my fleet. I own a lot of equipment and some sit for months without use and with the optimizer stabilizer they always start in most. 2 pulls or so.I am a lifer.

Walker’s Saw Shop Ltd would like to take this opportunity to recommend the use of Opti products in all your outdoor power equipment. We have recommended the Opti products to our customers for over 10 years and will continue to do so in the future. We sell over 300 chainsaws and over 200 handheld units per year to the professional and the consumer and every one of the units are PDI and are ran in with Opti-2 cycle mix at the recommended ratio.
Thanks, John Walker.

We use on average 1400 gallons per year of mixed 2-cycle fuel. We’ve used exclusively Opti 2-cycle oil for the last 2 years. I can’t say enough of how much this has helped our mid-size lawn maintenance operation! Previous to using Opti we would have 5+ 2-cycle pieces of equipment in the repair shop per month. Now after Opti we have yet to need any equipment repaired. Several times per year we have had employees accidentally run straight gas in our 2-cycle equipment and even with that big mistake we haven’t had any equipment seize up! We always mix our fuel at 100:1 and with non-ethanol fuel. I’m a firm believer in your products and will continue to use them until I retire!

When I was a teenager living at home my dad owned a Pioneer farm saw. After 16 years of 4 cords of wood and year Using the then called optimal the saw stopped dead. After my dad took the saw apart he cleaned the outside of said parts and left them on the work bench. When I came home I looked at the cylinder which was like a mirror tube, brand new.Piston, rings all like new.I asked him later at supper did he already have the new parts on the bench. He told me that those were the old parts and that the saw stopped on account of a nut that came loose from the exaust (his fault).
I was so impressed with the lack of wear that now with my own saw Eco 5000 I have 23 hard years on it and the compression is still 150 p.s.i. what more can I say?

Just wanted to let you know what I think of your product, nothing better! I have a chainsaw bought in the mid 70’s and have run Opti-2 in it from about ’77 or ’78. I had to put a carb kit in it today and was amazed, there was no carbon on of the piston at all. The piston look as though there had only been one or two tanks burned. The biggest problem is other parts are getting hard to find. All my other 2-cycle engines have performed extremely well with Opti-2. I cut about 20+ cords of wood a year and while this is not my only saw it has been used a lot over the years. Thanks, Barry.

Simply the best. Won’t even bother trying the competition. My father and i have been using opti-2 since the early 80’s, racing motocross/harecrambles just about every single weekend. Zero motor issues over the years at 80:1. We use the same mix in our weedeater and chainsaw. works perfect and no second mix for different applications.
I also like how Opti is not sold at big box stores, support local business!

I have been using Opti-2 for over 20 years for commercial use and have never been let down. It will extend the life of your equipment. I only use the best products. Most of my 300+ units make it 20 years.

GREAT STUFF
I started using Opti-2 many years ago and I have never been let down. I have used it in my 25 to 1 outboards as well as 60 to 1 chain saws. Around 8 years ago I started using Opti-2 in all my 4 stroke small engines. The stabilizer and small amount of oil seems to agree with all of them. My personal record involves a Wisconsin-Robin powered plate compactor left on a job site, uncovered, for 18 months. It started on the first pull. My John Deere lawn mower always starts on the first or second pull in the spring and runs great all summer. The ease of mixing with your pre-measured packets takes all the guessing out of it. I currently work as a groundsman for a school district in Eastern Washington and have converted all of our grounds equipment to Opti-2. We have around 100 2-stroke units and our carb problems have nearly disappeared. We also use the product as a storage fuel for seasonal equipment. Thank you so much for a wonderful product.

Just had my Dad’s 40 year old Homelite 240 serviced after sitting for 30 years. Needed carb rebuild. The repair shop said the engine was still in excellent condition for its age. They recommended to start using Opti 2. Before I could use it myself, my cousin asked if he could borrow it for a day. (His Husquvana’s chain brake had froze and he needed to finish a cutting job). I Told him it was just serviced, fresh sharpened chain and that I had filled the tank with Opti 2 mix. He had not heard of this oil. When he returned the saw he told me that within ten minuites of cutting the saw seemed to be getting more powerful with no bogg. I told him he was not imagining the increase of power. The crew at the repair shop had told me that once the Opti 2 started coating everything it would start running stronger. All I can say is WOW! What a SUPER Product!!!!!!
